LILLE – Serbian national basketball team got an evening off after advancing to quarter finals of the Euroleague. Players Nikola Kalinic, Miroslav Raduljica and Zoran Erceg stopped a taxi to take them back to the hotel.
When the taxi driver recognized them, he insisted that they come to visit him at his home.
They could not refuse the kind invitation, so they ended up spending the evening with him and his family. The driver, originally from Tunisia, served cake and coffee.

Basketball is extremely popular in Serbia, because of successes that Serbian basketball team made on several huge tournaments in the last decade. According to this site, their popularity on social media was decreased after Mundobasket 2019.
