Kosovo President, Atifete Jahjaga and Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa expressed their concern over the participation of Kosovo citizens in Kumanovo clashes, GazetaExpress.com reported.


“The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga and the Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa express their deepest concern and condemn all participation of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo in incidents that happened in the Republic of Macedonia, that aim destabilization of Kosovo and neighboring countries, put to test our peace and security and jeopardize the lives and property of citizens”, said the statement issued by the President’s Office.

After a joint meeting today, Jahjaga and Mustafa have called for transparent and credible investigation of the latest events in Kumanovo and offered the willingness of Kosovo institutions to shed light to the incident.

“The Republic of Kosovo remains committed to a multiethnic, stable and committed to equal rights of all communities in the state of Macedonia, as well as full implementation of the Ohrid Agreement,” stated the announcement.
