KOZARA, MRAKOVICA – Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik said Sunday that the adoption of the United Kingdom’s draft resolution on Srebrenica at the UN Security Council (UNSC) would mark the disintegration of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH).
“Those who were once dismantling Yugoslavia are now trying to tear down Republika Srpska,” Dodik said, pointing out that the possible adoption of the resolution on Srebrenica at the UN SC would be the end of BiH.
Speaking at a ceremony marking 73 years since the battles of Kozara in World War II, Dodik stressed that today, the BiH territory was shared by the Bosniaks, the Croats and the Serbs, just like in the former Yugoslavia, and wondered “how it is possible we do not have a big while there is a small Yugoslavia, since many say that BiH indeed is ‘a small scale Yugoslavia’.”
“If you want BiH, get back to what was written in Dayton. Stop your backroom dealing here,” said the RS president.
Dodik said that the British were drafting the resolution trying to wash their own conscience and stressed that Serbia and the RS spoke with one voice on that issue today.
