BELGRADE – Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic’s visit to Moscow has demonstrated that the two countries are ready to cooperate in building a Europe without divisions and walls, says Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Chepurin.

Both sides have also shown a readiness for constant improvement of bilateral cooperation in all areas, Chepurin said at the Russian House late Tuesday during a ceremony marking the Russian National Unity Day.

Russia and Serbia need to join forces and move forward to build a better future, he noted.

The reception, attended by many representatives of Russians based in Serbia, prominent Serbian cultural figures and World War II veterans, included a concert featuring Russian baritone Jan Osin and Serbian singer Radmila Karaklajic.
