Novak Djokovic wins Paris Masters

PARIS – The world’s best tennis player Novak Djokovic defended the title at the Paris Masters as he defeated Britain’s Andy Murray in the final match on Sunday, 6-2, 6-4.

Djokovic scored the fourth title in Paris, his third one in a row, and the victory also brought him his 58th trophy.

The Serbian player thus became the first player in the history of tennis to win six titles in the 1000 series in a single season, as he triumphed at Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Rome and Shanghai.

The prize fund of the Paris Masters totalled EUR 3.83 million.
