BELGRADE -Pristina has not met its obligations under the agreement on telecommunications, and until it does, it should not expect Belgrade to deliver on its part, Director of the Office for KiM Marko Djuric told RTS.

Djuric explains that the agreement on telecommunications reached on August 25 enables Telekom Srbija to operate in the entire territory of Kosovo, re-launch a mobile network with licenses and stipulates that there are no calling codes between central Serbia and Kosovo and higher international rates, while Serbia on the other hand is seeking an additional calling code for itself.

“Serbia is asking for another calling code, which will not be dialed when you call from Belgrade and Pristina, but if Pristina implements the agreement, it will own another calling code at the ITU, in the same way as China owns dial codes for Hong Kong,” Djuric added.
