BELGRADE – In response to the decision of leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to hold early parliamentary elections, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic expressed his personal opinion that the Vucic-led government had done an excellent job and could rightly expect an outstanding election result.


“The SNS made the decision to check the results of its work in a direct contact with citizens, in elections. It is my personal opinion that the government led by Aleksandar Vucic has done an excellent job, and could rightly expect an excellent result in the elections. I expect a fair and democratic election race, I expect the best to win, and with the trust tested with citizens, continue achieving the objectives we set, which Serbia deserved a long time ago,“ the president’s press service cited Nikolic as saying.
