BELGRADE – Serbia reached the semifinals of the 2016 Men’s European Water Polo Championship in Belgrade after a commanding 15-5 victory over Russia late on Monday.

The Serbian team, coached by Dejan Savic, will play Greece, which beat Spain 6-2 earlier today, in their semifinal match on Wednesday.

Serbia was led to its fifth victory at the tournament by Mandic and Prlainovic, three goals each, Nikic and Filipovic, who had two each, and Cuk and Pijetlovic, Aleksic, Jaksic and Mitrovic who had one goal each.
