Serbian men’s basketball team to face Angola, Puerto Rico

GENEVA – The Serbian men’s national basketball team has been drawn to play Angola and Puerto Rico in Belgrade in Group A of a qualifying tournament for the Rio Olympics.

The draw was held in Geneva on Tuesday.

Group B consists of the Czech Republic, Japan and Latvia.

The group winners and runners-up will advance to the semi-finals, with only the winner of the tournament to qualify for the Olympic Games.

Manila and Turin will host the two other qualifying tournaments, all of which will take place from July 4 through 10.

The Belgrade tournament will be held at the Kombank Arena.
