Serbian PM to take part in conference on migrant crisis in London

BELGRADE – Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will take part in a conference on the migrant crisis at the invitation of the German chancellor, the prime ministers of Britain and Norway, the Kuwaiti Emir and the UN secretary general in London on February 4, Tanjug learnt at Vucic’s office.

The conference will also be attended by the presidents of the U.S., Russia and China.

Vucic received a letter of invitation jointly signed by British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Norway’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheik Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Speaking at a panel titled ‘From migration to integration’ at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2016 in Davos, Vucic said that the European policy on migration needed to change as there was still no solution in sight.
