BELGRADE – Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has promised Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin to find the grave of his great grandfather who emigrated to Yugoslavia after the Bolsheviks seized power in Russia.
Rogozin’s great grandfather Nikolay Mitkevich-Zholtok was major general of the Russian army. In 1920, he left the port city of Sevastopol (Crimea) together with his war comrades and found himself in forced emigration in Yugoslavia.
“I have asked the Serbian prime minister to find the grave of my great grandfather,” Rogozin wrote in Twitter.
“My dear friend, we will do everything possible to help you,” Vucic answered, also in Twitter.
