BELGRADE – Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that he has not yet seen a credible nor convincing enough way to resolve the migrant crisis, and that he is for the first time worried about the future.
Vucic told reporters that Serbia has the strength to protect itself in this migrant crisis, and that in this moment it can accept 5,000 refugees, but no more, as our economy cannot withstand it.
The Prime Minister, after having attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, told Serbian reporters that politics, more so than economics, worried pertinent world leaders. This year in Davos, the political forecast was dark.
“Regardless of slowing Chinese growth and problems with the Russian market, or that the reduction in oil prices affects a good part of the world, it seems to me that politics worries most powerful world leaders, and that most of the attention is on the migrant crisis”, said Vucic.
Vucic has not yet seen a credible or convincing enough way to solve the problem of the migrant crisis, as the world is, according to him, more focused on the consequences, yet is lacking a solution.
