DUBAI – The world’s number one tennis player Novak Djokovic reached quarter-finals of the Dubai tournament, after easing past Malek Jaziri of Tunisia 6-1, 6-2 in the second round on Wednesday.
It took the Serbian player just 65 minutes to score the 700th victory in his career.
In his bid for the semi-final, Djokovic will clash with Feliciano Lopez of Spain who had defeated Czech Lukas Rosol 6-3, 7-6 (9-7). The Serbian tennis player has a 7-0 lead in their head-to-head record.
The prize fund totals USD 2,674,445.
