Serbia: Parliament committee approves agreement with NATO

BELGRADE – The Serbian parliament’s Defense and Internal Affairs Committee has approved signing an agreement between Serbia and NATO Support and Procurement Organisation (NSPO) on cooperation in the field of logistical support.

The agreement represents a legal basis for the establishment of relations in the field of logistics, the committee said at a meeting it held on Wednesday.

Zoran Djordjevic, secretary of state at the Defense Ministry, said that Serbia had expressed interest in participating in multinational operations by joining the Partnership for Peace program, and the agreement would, among other things, reduce the expenses generated Serbia’s participation in those operations.

  1. What is Russia’s response to this, and why would Serbia risk upsetting a strong country which does not recognize Kosovo and didn’t vote to give Serbian heritage to the Albanians in Kosovo (UNESCO)?
NATO personnel stood by while Albanians ethnically cleansed, kidnapped, took organs from and killed Serbs (and other minorities, such as the Roma).
    Serbia’s government is TRAITOROUS.
