BELGRADE – Commenting on the Pentagon’s claims that there is no reliable information to suggest that the two Serbian diplomats who died in Libya last week were killed by US bombs, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said that Belgrade does not know what the stance is based on.

Based on autopsies conducted in Libya and Serbia, it was established unambiguously that the injuries that caused their deaths were a result of powerful blasts and bombs, he said.

“We are ready to hear if the Pentagon has any evidence of that, rather than just talk, and we will, of course, consider it but there is nothing but talk for now,” he told the RTS.

The AFP reported Wednesday that the Pentagon has denied the claims that Serbian embassy staffers Sladjana Stankovic and Jovica Stepic were killed in US air strikes on an ISIS facility in Libya.

They had been held hostage since November.

  1. imagine that: The Nato think like: IF YOU DONT COME TO NATO; NATO WILL COME TO YOU!!!

    NATO,. National And TERROR ORGANISATION

  2. The Serbian government is also responsible for keeping them there in that country which is in chaos and does not have a stable, working legitimate government.
The woman was desperate to go back to Serbia, but the Serbian government would not allow her until there was a replacement. But since no one wanted to work there she could not leave – only just before she was killed was there a person to replace her.
But the question is why is it necessary to have a replacement for her to leave? If Serbia cared more about the safety of its citizens than dealing with a terrorist-run country, then it would have brought them home years ago and would not have forced people to stay in a place with ISIS gangs running around.
