PRISTINA – The incidents that started last year, after the signing of the agreement on the Community of Serb Municipalities in Brussels, are taking new forms every day, with the non-Albanian population, primarily Serbs and everything that belongs to them, increasingly becoming a target of extremism, Kosovo Minister of Local Self-Government Ljubomir Maric said.

Despite this, Maric expects a high voter turnout in the elections set to take place in Serbia on April 24.

“I think we should work on security issues more seriously, which will certainly be one of the topics of meetings that I am planning to hold with mayors of all Serb-majority municipalities and representatives of the international community, especially KFOR,“ Maric, who is also at the helm of the management team tasked to establish the Community of Serb Municipalities, said in an interview for the Jedinstvo daily.
