PRISTINA – A window was broken and a Molotov cocktail hurled at the part of the Kosovo parliament building where the president’s office is located, Pristina’s media reported.

The police confirmed that the Molotov cocktail was thrown at the Kosovo president’s office, RTS reported.

The attack took place at around 4 a.m. Saturday, engaging several masked people.

“First they hurled stones, breaking the window, and then they tried to throw a Molotov cocktail inside the office, but it ended up on the wall which now bears the marks of fire,” the police said.

Local police arrived at the site immediately. No one was injured in the attack.

The office of President Atifete Jahjaga is on the first floor of the Kosovo parliament building which is under constant police watch.
