INDIAN WELLS – Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, the current world number one in men’s tennis, is through to his sixth consecutive Indian Wells ATP Masters semi-final after defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France 7-6 (7-2), 7-6 (7-2) Friday.

Djokovic won after two hours and six minutes of play and now has a 15-6 head-to-head record against Tsonga.

To reach the final, Djokovic will on Sunday face Rafael Nadal of Spain, against whom he is 24-23 head-to-head.

The prize money at Indian Wells is USD 7.1 million.
