BELGRADE – U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott said Friday that an investigation into the death of two Serbian diplomats in Sabratha, Libya, was still ongoing and it was necessary to get to the whole truth about what had happened there.
Replying to reporters’ questions in Belgrade, Scott said that we were still waiting for results of the investigation, adding that he did not expect them to arrive “tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.”
“We need to get to the whole truth about it,” said Scott.
When a journalist observed that the Pentagon had already come out in public with certain information, Scott said that it was not a “definitive statement by the U.S. government” as we needed to know more facts and it was therefore necessary to wait for a little more.
