BELGRADE – Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic discussed with Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin on Thursday the implementation of agreements on economic cooperation, expressing the expectation that a deal on exports of Serbian-made Fiat vehicles to the Eurasian Economic Union will also be reached.

Vucic received Chepurin to discuss possibilities for implementing a number of agreements on economic cooperation, in particular in the automotive and construction industries, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.

A Serbia-Russia working group on strategic matters is expected to start work soon.

Vucic and Chepurin also exchanged views on key political issues, Serbia’s military neutrality as well as other regional and international issues.
