BELGRADE – The migrant crisis will not be a major problem in Serbia, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has said, adding that arguments made by some that Serbia will become flooded with migrants and that the Balkans will become a “camp for migrants” were conspiracy theories only meant to make people scared.

“I am sure there will be no major problems anywhere in Serbia, including Kosovo-Metohija, although these are no easy challenges to deal with,” Vucic told Radio Television of Serbia late on Tuesday.

Asked to comment on remarks that the Balkans would become a camp for migrants, Vucic said that those were all conspiracy theories used by “the great protectors of Serbian interests” to make people feel unsafe.
