WTA: Ivanovic moves to 17th, Jankovic drops to 26th

LONDON – Serbia’s best female tennis player Ana Ivanovic moved up one spot to 17th, while Jelena Jankovic fell five spots to 26th on this week’s WTA rankings.

Ivanovic kept the 2,531 points she had last week, while Jankovic lost 530 after failing to reach the final at Indian Wells, the stage she reached last year.

As for other Serbian players, Bojana Jovanovski fell nine spots to 94th, Aleksandra Krunic fell one spot to 125th, while Ivana Jorovic moved up a single spot to 179th.

American Serena Williams is still at the top, followed by Agnieszka Radwanska, who overthrew Angelique Kerber at No. 2, and the two are followed by Garbine Muguruza and Simona Halep.

Victoria Azarenka made a great Top 10 comeback, jumping from No. 15 to No.8.
