PRISTINA – A Serb home under construction in the village of Tomance, Kosovo’s Istok municipality, was set on fire last night, the Kosovo Ministry for Returns and Communities has told Tanjug.
The house was damaged in the fire, which was spotted by the contractor.
The house is being built for Serb returnee Ljubomir Radojevic and his family as part of an EU-funded project of the ministry.
Kosovo’s Minister of Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic said that the incident is a bad message that puts returns under great threat.
Such cases are a direct message to returnees that they are not welcome in their places of return, and is also a threat to returns, which are not at a satisfactory level, anyway, Jevtic said.
