PARIS – Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, the current world number one in men’s tennis, is through to the final of the Roland Garros after defeating Dominic Thiem of Austria 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 in the semi-final on Friday.

The Serbian won after 110 minutes of play and is now 3-0 head-to-head against the Austrian and in his fourth final at Roland Garros – the only Grand Slam tournament he has never won.

Djokovic will next face Briton Andy Murray, who beat defending champion Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland  6-4, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.

The prize money at Roland Garros is EUR 32 million.
