Stoltenberg: NATO wants no confrontation with Russia

SOURCETASS

BELGRADE – NATO member-countries seek no confrontation with Russia, the North Atlantic Alliance’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Thursday.

“We do not want confrontation with Russia. On the contrary, we strive for a more constructive relationship with Russia,” he told a joint news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

“And we keep channels for political dialogue open,” he said. “Dialogue is even more important when tensions are high”.

  1. Well. Mr Stolen berg you have a very peculiar way of showing it. So far NATO has done nothing but goad and provoke, the world owes what precious little peace it has down to Russia, who has seen fit not to rise to NATOs constant and determined efforts to encircle, threat and bait Russia into conflict. The propaganda war NATO/USA has wielded has been nothing short of disgusting and distasteful.
