BELGRADE – Support for leaving the European Union has grown by one percent in Britain over the past two weeks, with 53 percent now saying they would say ‘yes’ to Brexit, a fresh poll published Monday found.

Phone and online surveys, conducted by ICM pollster for the Guardian, found that UK voters were split 53 to 47 percent in favor of quitting the 28-nation bloc. ICM’s results from late May showed the Leave campaign leading by four points.

The new ICM survey took place on June 10-13 among over 3,000 British adults. It comes less than two weeks before Brits are due to cast ballots in June 23’s referendum on whether their country should stay in or leave the European Union.
