NIS – This year’s Nisville Jazz Festival in Nis, southern Serbia, attracted an estimated 170,000 people and the closing night set a new single-night record, festival director Ivan Blagojevic told a press conference Monday.

“An estimated 7,000-8,000 visitors attended last night’s performance by Joss Stone. As we were aware of the huge interest, we expanded the venue capacity, but it was still packed,” Blagojevic said.

According to a statement, Blagojevic said accommodation capacities in the city had also been sold out.
