Glavas, a man convicted for murders of Serb civilians, a man who is glorifying the Nazi Ustasha Independent State of Croatia, its leader Ante Pavelic and Roman Catholic Cardinal Aloysius Stepinac, as well as the Ustasha terrorist Miro Baresic, is accusing Serbia of neo-fascism, referring to Serbia’s opposition to a rehabilitation of fascism and Ustashism as impudence, Dacic said in a press release.
“The overturning of Glavas’s conviction is a clear message that unpunished killing and abuse of Serbs is possible. Serbia will never reconcile to that. War criminals around the world belong in prison – only in Croatia are they in front of reporters’ cameras and microphones,” said Dacic, who is also Serbian foreign minister.
Glavas, one of the founders of Croatia’s ruling Croatian Democratic Community and the Croatian Democratic Alliance of Slavonia and Baranja, called on Croatian authorities earlier in the day to react with more resolve to “the impudence of the eastern neighbours.”
