BELGRADE – Serbian Minister of Defence Zoran Djordjevic and Ambassador of the United Kingdom Denis Keefe agreed Tuesday at a meeting that cooperation in the field of defence is the best part of the overall relations between the two countries.

The cooperation is mainly taking place in the fields of military education, medicine, integrity-building and public relations.

Djordjevic said that he is hoping that increased cooperation in the field of military health care will result in a potential participation of a joint military contingent in an international operation.

Djordjevic pointed out that Serbia is firmly committed to preservation of regional stability while making a significant contribution to global security.

Djordjevic’s participation in an upcoming conference on international operations in London was also discussed at the meeting.
