BELGRADE – Serbia is set for a date with the United States with gold on the line.

The Serbs handled Australia 87-61 in the semifinals Friday to set up a rematch of the 2014 FIBA World Cup final in which the US routed Serbia 129-92.

It was a dissappointing loss for the Boomers, but they can hardly find fault with the result the way that Serbia dominated the game from the opening minute, oregonlive.com reports.

The Americans are going for their third straight gold medal, while Serbia last medaled in the Olympics in the 1996 Summer games.
