RIO DE JANEIRO – The Serbia men’s national basketball team is through to the semi-finals of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after defeating Croatia 86-83 (20-19, 12-19, 34-14, 20-31) in Thursday’s quarter-finals.

Bogdan Bogdanovic led the scoring for Serbia with 18 points, Miroslav Raduljica, Nikola Jokic and Stefan Markovic all added 12, while Milos Teodosic had nine points and 10 assists.

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 28 points for Croatia, followed by Mario Hezonja with 16.

Serbia will next face Australia on Friday, with Spain to play the United States in the other semi-final game.
