Serbian duo knocked out of Olympic doubles tournament

RIO DE JANEIRO – The Serbian duo of Novak Djokovic and Nenad Zimonjic has been knocked out of the men’s tennis doubles tournament at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after losing 6-4, 6-4 to Marcelo Melo and Bruno Soares of Brazil in the second round early Tuesday.

The Brazilians won after 74 minutes of play and will next face Florin Mergea and Horia Tecau of Romania.
