BELGRADE – The Serbian government will meet the September 15 legal deadline to define the minimum labour cost and it will work, through dialogue with social partners, towards raising it, said a statement released on Friday after the government’s first session.

Particular attention was devoted to the role of the Social-Economic Council in the government’s future work, the appointment of its representatives in the Council and mutual cooperation, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.

During its first session, the government established its working bodies.
