Tomicevic, Zoric take Olympic silver in Rio

RIO DE JANEIRO – Serbian kayakers Marko Tomicevic and Milenko Zoric have won the silver medal in the men’s K2 1000m event at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after finishing second in Thursday’s A final.

They completed the race in 3:10.969, behind Max Rendschmidt and Marcus Gross of Germany (3:10.781) and ahead of the Australian duo of Ken Wallace and Lachlan Tame (3:12.593).

Tomicevic and Zoric’s medal is the fourth for Serbia at the Rio Olympics.
