BELGRADE – The Belgrade authorities will react responsibly and seriously in case the International High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina requests a ban on the Republika Srpska Day referendum.

“There is no doubt that we will want to hear the positions of all Serb representatives and that I will immediately invite them to come to Belgrade and ask them to hold consultations with us if such a decision is made,” Vucic told a press conference after meeting with foreign ambassadors in Belgrade.

Vucic said holding meetings with Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member Mladen Ivanic and other Serb representatives to find the least damaging option for the Serbs was no problem for him.

“We must cause the least damage and draw the most benefits for our citizens and the nation”, Vucic said.
