BITOLA – Serbia and Macedonia have a few unsolved issues, which they will solve together to avoid leaving them to their children, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said after a meeting with Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov in Bitola on Friday.

“Those are not big problems and, once we get them off the agenda, we will be able to develop our friendship fully,” Nikolic said.

Serbians and Macedonians are already maintaining exceptional cooperation in business, he said.

Nikolic thanked Ivanov for the opportunity to meet him at the centenary commemoration of the WWI Battle of Kajmakcalan.

Nikolic also announced an agreement on protection of cultural and historical monuments in Serbia and Macedonia would be tabled to the two governments for analysis.
