BELGRADE – PM Aleksandar Vucic said Thursday mechanisms had been found at a meeting with an EBRD delegation earlier in the day to speed up projects worth 600 mln euros, adding that the cooperation with the EBRD was vital because it contributed to growth and attracting new investments.

Two hundred million euros in cash will soon become available for the national electric power company EPS – we also expect 200 million euros more for the Serbian Railways and “we also have other projects we need to push,” Vucic told a press conference.

Major ongoing projects were discussed at the meeting, as was the private sector, support for SMEs, the business climate, the entrepreneurial spirit and privatisations, he said.

The EPS and a loan for restructuring the Srbijagas debt were also touched upon – to us, it is cheap money and funds cannot be obtained cheaper, Vucic said.
