PARIS – The EU must solve the problem of the migrant crisis on its own borders – in Bulgaria and Greece – because, even though we will accept our share of responsibility and continue to show solidarity, we will have to make a decision at some point, Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said in Paris Thursday.

Walls and barriers are not necessary and that would not be a good solution for anyone, but there should never be a situation where Serbia says that no more migrants can enter its territory, Vucic told reporters.

“The EU must solve that on its borders. Serbia cannot be Europe’s first and last defence. Someone has to solve that on the borders of Greece and Bulgaria, they are EU countries,” Vucic said.
