THE HAGUE – The lower house of the Dutch parliament has approved a Foreign Ministry proposal to headquarter in The Hague the special court set up to try crimes committed by the so-called “Kosovo Liberation Army”, the Pristina Kosovo sot daily reports.

Dutch Foreign Ministry officials have said they were unsure for how long the special court would operate as that depended on the number of the accused, but that it had an initial five-year term.

Over the course of that period, the Dutch authorities will be able to issue arrest warrants for anyone who escapes from custody in The Netherlands, the paper said.
