BRUSSELS – The EU-facilitated Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is not about ultimatums but about implementation of agreements reached by both sides, EC spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic said Thursday.

It is about implementation of the 2013 telecommunications agreement, followed by the 2015 Action Plan, whose implementation is still underway, Kocijancic told Tanjug’s Brussels correspondent when asked to confirm if Belgrade had until Sunday to accept or reject a deal on telecommunications in the dialogue with Pristina.

Specifically, this is about an existing agreement on conditions under which Kosovo would be given a calling code while the Serbian operator in Kosovo would get a full landline telephony licence and a temporary licence for existing mobile telephony, she said.

“What matters is implementation of agreements in the dialogue, and work on that is now underway,” she said.
