Vucic to visit NATO headquarters in late November

BRUSSELS – Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic will visit the NATO headquarters in Brussels in late November to meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and the North Atlantic Council, the NATO headquarters officially confirmed to Tanjug on Tuesday.

The military alliance said it welcomed a deepening of political dialogue and practical cooperation with Serbia on matters of mutual interest.

We fully respect Serbia’s policy of neutrality and attach great importance to the right of every sovereign country to make decisions on its own, NATO said in a statement submitted to Tanjug.

NATO welcomes the progress in the EU-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, the statement said, reiterating the alliance was committed to continuing to assist the process of building stability and security in the Western Balkans.

  1. Sure, we’ve seen more than once how NATO “respects” the rights of sovereign countries. And what is it that the military alliance talks about with the head of a “neutral” country? The beauty of autumn trees?
