BELGRADE – Serbia’s chief EU negotiator Tanja Miscevic said Monday she was optimistic about three new chapters in Serbia’s EU accession talks being opened by the end of the year.

“I am always optimistic. As early as last week, after the publication of the European Commission report, I said that the possibility of opening new chapters by the end of the year was enhanced by the fact that the report said Serbia had done a very good job, primarily in the dialogue with Pristina,” Miscevic told Pink.

Chapters 25, 26 and 5 – on science and research, education and culture and public procurement, respectively – could be opened by the end of this year, Miscevic said.
