Rama regrets Clinton’s loss at the elections

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama speaks at the news conference with visiting Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, the first Serbian leader to visit the nation after a troubled past, at the Palace of Brigades in the Albanian capital, Tirana, Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Both countries are trying to overcome their troubled past while working toward EU membership. Relations between the two Balkan states remain strained, mainly over the former Serbian province of Kosovo where majority ethnic Albanians declared independence in 2008 which Serbia refused to recognize. BELGRADE – A great friend of Albania, Kosovo and all Albanians Hillary Clinton did not win the election, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama wrote on Facebook.

“Her opponent Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States,” said Rama.

Rama congratulated victory to Trump and wished success to “friends and partners” in the United States.

“I am confident that our strategic relationship with the United States will continue to strengthen in terms of common values and interests.
Albania is a friend and ally of the US government,” said Rama.

  1. The defeat of HRC was a travesty. I agree that Comey violated the Hatch Act and HE should be fired! Also the media gave Trump coverage with every mean-spirited, vitriolic word spoken by him. FREE CAMPAIGN COVERAGE FOR TRUMP WHILE IGNORING HILLARY. FINALLY SHE WON THE POPULAR VOTE. ELECTORAL COLLEGE SHOULD BE ELIMINATED. IT’S TOTALLY UNFAIR TO THE POPULACE WHO MADE THEIR VOICES HEARD AND CHOSE THE CANDIDATE THEY WANTED AS THEIR PRESIDENT.
