BANJALUKA – The Republika Srpska public broadcaster RTRS reported Thursday it had obtained secret orders issued by the Bosnia and Herzegovina Intelligence and Security Agency (OBA) for eavesdropping on Serbian officials.
The operation has been underway for five months, the report said, and the RTRS website published scans of OBA documents designated as secret.
The RTRS said it had also obtained a proposal signed by top OBA officials that ordered eavesdropping, monitoring and other intelligence and security measures targeting Serbian nationals.
Vecernje novosti reported earlier the OBA had stepped up its intelligence measures against Serbian officials, including eavesdropping on conversations, monitoring and surveillance during their stays in BiH.
Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic confirmed Serbia was aware of such measures targeting its officials.
