BELGRADE – Serbian authorities are planning to discuss with the Russian leadership purchases of the Buk missile systems, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Monday.

Vucic is expected to visit Moscow on December 21.

“We shall speak with Russia about certain air defense systems, most likely about [Buk] M1 or M2, but it is necessary to see what is better and cheaper, as well as what financial instruments and means we can use,” Vucic said as quoted by the Tanjug news agency.
