The prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina will open a case and check allegations concerning actions of Sakib Softic as an agent in the process of applying for revision of a judgement against Serbia, confirmed on Friday for Serbian daily “Vecernje Novosti” BiH prosecution spokesman Boris Grubesic.

At the same time, NDP (National Democratic Movement) announced it will file two criminal charges on Monday – against Bakir Izetbegovic and Sakib Softic.

After the collapse of attempt of the Bosniak member of the Presidency to, through self-proclaimed agent of BiH, submit a request for the revision of the judgement against Serbia, the whole case transferred to the home ground. The International Court of Justice notified Softic in May last year that it does not consider him as an authorized agent, which did not prevent him from submitting the request at Izetbegovic’s order.

President of NDP Dragan Cavic confirmed for “Vecernje Novosti” that the party will, in the name of the Alliance for Change, submit on Monday to the Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo criminal charges against Izetbegovic and Softic for false impersonation, incitement to false impersonation, as well as usurpation of constitutional powers.

“I expect rapid response from BiH Prosecution, just as they acted fast upon charges against politicians from Republika Srpska for holding a referendum on the Republic Day of the Republika Srpska and celebration of January 9. They held hearings of politicians from the Republika Srpska within a month,” he said.
