The head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport will soon leave this post because he has been appointed to another job.

The daily Danas is reporting this citing diplomatic sources in Belgrade.

According to the article, Davenport, who came to the helm of the EU mission in Belgrade in June 2013, will likely leave sooner than planned.

Before he was appointed to head the EU mission, Davenport served as Britain’s ambassador to Serbia for two years.
