Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday “presented a Serbian-made chocolate bar to Croatian counterpart Andrej Plenkovic,” Tanjug is reporting.

The heads of government of the two neighboring countries were visiting to the Serbian booth at the International Economic Fair in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

When asked by reporters if he would eat the Galeb chocolate bar, produced by Pionir Subotica, Plenkovic responded: “Without problems.”

This comes after last year’s apology that Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic issued for distributing Serbian chocolate to Croatian school children.

The move contributed to worsening the already tense relations between the two countries, with Serbian officials reacting and criticizing the Croatian president’s apology.

  1. Croats also threw a fit about some Slovenian chocolate given because its box showed Slovenia controlling a part of disputed land that Croatia says is its own, or something like that.
