First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met on Wednesday with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Hoyt Yee.
The two officials discussed topics related to bilateral cooperation, regional stability, the European path of Serbia, as well as the continuation of the Brussels dialogue, the Serbian government announced.
Dacic “stressed the importance of US support to the current efforts of Serbia in achieving its strategic priorities, and expressed the interest of our side to further intensify the high-level political dialogue.”
Yee “underlined that the US and Serbia foster close cooperation, and expressed interest that this positive dynamics of bilateral relations further develop in the future.”
The US official was also received by Serbian PM and President-elect Aleksandar Vucic.
