Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic will attend the inauguration of Serbia’s new president, Aleksandar Vucic, a source from her office said on Tuesday.
The ceremony will be held on Friday in Belgrade.
According to the same source, who spoke for Croatia’s Hina agency, the two presidents will also hold a short meeting.
Earlier today, N1 broadcaster reported that Grabar-Kitarovic may miss the inauguration “because she is receiving physiotherapy treatment.”
Meanwhile, preparations for Vucic’s inauguration are nearly finished – “but are still being kept completely secret,” daily Politika reported.
According to the article, “a large number” of heads of state or government, envoys and ministers have confirmed their attendance.
A protest has been announced for Friday by Vucic’s opponents gathered in the “Against Dictatorship” movement.
